I know I posted here and there about this but it is still impacting me..Girl was ready to hang it up..give up.I randomly wrote her..sort of former neighbor but did not know each other..we do now and are engaged...
My wife hung herself free.. and wrote in her note first lines

I cant help but think my wife died to save this girl

I have found the same in my life. If people (or events) are determined to do things that God does not want them to do, He manages to work it out so that the timing creates as much good as possible for those who would be hurt by them. Congratulations on seeing that He is bigger than any imaginable problem.

It is almost unbelievable the number of people, including professing Christians who hate this girl and wish her harm. they speak OT justice, eye for an eye and totally ignore Jesus ..then boast about their pastor also supporting such evil...Shame on them all, woe unto them.

I fear heaven will be a sparsely populated place and even scripture backs that up..

"Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." (Matthew 7:14)

"I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" (Luke 18:8)

Well, all the more room for us who actually act and do the Word rather than sit in church and spout scriptures like a fountain of putrid water infested with a dead pig in the well and shout Amen, then go out and do nothing at all to help one single soul.
God forgive them, they know not what they do!

No, I think we are in the same body of Christ..it's the haters who are in a different body. (Another Jesus and another gospel as Paul would say) these are not people I know and do not want to know, unless I was ever to try and witness the true Christ to them... they claim to be church goers, talk about pastor and bible studies, and yet turn around and spew hatred

I just meant I don't run into these kind any more. Haven't since I established my own independent minsitries several decades ago. I am glad to see you are doing the same.

I am pretty much to myself..used to have a home Bible study here years ago but the lady who let us use her home cancelled it after awhile..had a house church in early 2000s too.
Just because someone attends church does not make them a christian, and just because someone does not go to a church building or join a denomination does not make them a non Christian if they are truly born again..there was someone around here who used to toss around the phrase "That person is un-churched." Where did Jesus or anywhere in the Bible teach you need to be "churched"? 6 out of 7 churches in Revelation 2 & 3 are rebuked and only one given honor by the LORD.
I live a few miles away from a Laodicean church..that's not its real name but you will not see one dirty car or old rusty pickup truck in the parking lot on Sunday..rather it looks more like a car show with shiny waxed cars, mostly new and expensive. I've talked to a couple people who briefly attended there and said the elders look down on people if you are not successful, have money, nice vehicles and dress in good clothes, and strangely one woman was pretty conservative herself and even she was not accepted by C.O.L.

I agree with everything you're saying (the parts I did not quote). While what "Christians" do on Sunday (or whenever) bears almost no resemblance to what the Bible says to do, I think we are also told that we need to be connected to others, if we are to develop into the fullness of stature in Christ. I think is sad if you are truly "pretty much to yourself", obviously depending on the exact definition of "pretty much". Perhaps you are making connections here at this site, or can do so over the internet, as I have done, and eventually can find some people again locally. I hope your new wife-to-be is as sincere about following Jesus as you are, and the two of you can find connections together that you could not find alone.
