The song is old as the hills and has been sung by so many, but for some reason it always reminds me of God's grace to us his children ..."if my people will turn to me and pray", the book of Hosea ...the prodigal son ...all his promises to take us back and love us though we've strayed from him.
Maybe it's a bit of a leap (I do know he is a jealous God), but everytime I hear it, I think of grace rather than romance.
Why is it that we don't dance every dance with our True Love???
