Hi all,
I'd like to get a list of the Seventh-day Adventists here that agree with what our church teaches and proudly wear the name "Seventh-day Adventist"!
Do you agree with the Fundamental Beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist church, if so, say it loud!
Come one, come all. Just say hi.
Just say no to the red, and yes to the blue. It has happened already. Thanks to Froom, Anderson, Read, Unruh, Figuhr, and predecessors (H. Camden Lacey, A.W. Spalding). The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be built on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure.

You know red, in the strictest sense I am an adventist seeing how I believe in the soon advent of Jesus, but I am not sda. So, it seems the naming convention kills the uniqueness of the sda messageA good reason to have a roll call is also to use it in presenting our request to the GCs Office of the General Counsel to allow us to use the name "Seventh-day Adventist". We will be putting together our case to bring to them to get approval so we can change the name of our forum to "Seventh-day Adventist" and we need to show that we are indeed a lay group holding to church doctrine and sharing those beliefs with nonSDAs on behalf of the SDA church. So if you are a member that loves and hold to the beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist church and want the name "Seventh-day Adventist" back up, please put your name on the roll call ......

Consider me to have stood up and been counted as an SDA who holds to the doctrines and beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist church including the 28 Fundamental Beliefs as stated by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist.

I think you should be declared an honorary member since I'm "THIS CLOSE" to winning my free toaster by getting you to join our church.
My only loyalty is with Christ alone, and Him crucified. I completely support the Gospel as taught in Scripture by the apostles. My only official church membership is in the SDA church where I pastored for over 10 years. However, I do consider being a member of the family of God through adoption in Jesus Christ as being of eternal importance. But by human standards I do belong to the SDA denominationalism community.
I would appreciate my name being added to the list of members on CF who have membership and pastoral experience in the SDA church.
In CHRIST alone...
That's not news tao. I announced that I did not agree with SDA theology from my very first post here. It's the very reason I resigned in the first place. That I disagree with you has much to do with your responses to me.
