"Revelations" - April 13th

Two things:
1 - As a production, it is just plain awful. If episode 1 was supposed to pull you in - it failed.
2 - OK, the nun has all the signs that the end is near. She's running around breathless like there's something she can DO about it. Puhleeez.

Definately no theological truths being presented, but I will watch the next episode, if for nothing else, I like the actors that are in it.

I thought it was pretty entertaining, I've always like these "end of the world" movies though. I'm sure I'll watch it through, I'm pretty sure the baby is supposed to be anti-christ not, Jesus.

I thought it was supposed to run Wednesdays? I entirely missed it. Shucks.

The previews showed the nun wanting to fight the end of the world (I think at one point she said "we can stop it"!), so I figured SHE was Anti-Christ.

Odds are you can catch reruns on CNBC and/or USA. I happened to notice each channel running it lately. Sorry, I have no times for you.

Go to TV.YAHOO.COM - and type in Revelations in the Search box and click. It will ask you to put in your zip code. Then it will ask you for your Cable company name. Then you can get a list of the next two weeks airings.

Go, try it. Great way to know what's on when of what you wanna see!

Well they do throw in quotes from the bible before each segment if that is what you are looking for

From what I have seen it's really not that much biblical.

Well I've watched the first two installments, mostly because my wife wants to watch, and all I can say is I'd like those 2 hours of my life back please.

Yeah, I decided not to watch the second installment. Thinking about it after seeing the first one and just decided there would be better uses for an hour of my time

Ugh, I fell asleep early and forgot it was on last night. I wasn't thoroughly impressed with the first one but wanted to watch the next few episodes before I drew and conclusions. What happened last night?

well, the baby is definitely an anti-christ. I only caught the 2nd half of the show. I kind of like this show. It makes me think. If nothing else, it does give me a half-imagery of some of the verses from the bible. At least, it challenges me to try to understand the revelation passages. As for biblical authenticity, it is definitely stretching a lot of things. I guess they are saying this whole thing happened before the first group of people got raised to heaven? It brought up a lot of passages from the old testament. I think I should check it out to see if those passages were originally written for prediction of the end of the days.

There was a part of the last episode where I thought that the Rapture had occured, but nothing happened really.

It's interesting. Not very Biblically tight, but I never expected it to be to begin with. Entertainment and fiction. Nothing more, nothing less.

I thought the second installment was very good! It freaked me out. I havent read the book Revelations yet, but I like the show!

did anyone else think there was something theologically askew with this show? of course, its done by hollywood so i wouldnt expect it to be real accurate. just hoping for all those who have never read the bible but find it "interesting".

Any sort of theology is like a mile away from where this show is, but that doesn't make it interesting to watch.

I've tuned in and watched both episodes and find it very interesting. I am, of course, watching it purely as "entertainment" and not for its biblical accuracy/inaccuracy. Hollywood does often put "their own spin" on religious-themed shows anyways. Seems to be pretty entertaining though...and kind of makes you think....
