Sounds like a great service, Av. I'm Anglican and find RC church very similar. I do like that the Anglican church (mine anyway) is slightly more relaxed, maybe less rigid with the service.
I guess reps haven't been fixed yet?
I am beginning to believe that Reps may be what the powers that be want them to be...
One of the Mods commented in the Rep Avalanche thread that the spreading reps around may STAY in place...that was May 7th I think...
Ty
not for me . . .
Yup. At my wife's church this morning they asked my two oldest children (Michael and Amanda) to do the collection and my oldest daughter to help pass out Mother's day flowers to all the ladies. When the Minister gave the sermon he called all the children to the front and asked them a bunch of questions about what their mother's meant to them, what they were doing for mom today, etc. Fantastic. I've never experienced this sense of family in a Catholic church.
My wife's church is Anglican (and my kids), I'm Catholic. I'm seriously considering becoming Anglican.
I know, fellowship is not a great reason to switch denominations, but I'm forbidden communion too by the Catholic church. I cannot have communion in a Catholic church because I'm living in sin (got married in an Anglican church). And the Catholic church says I can't partake of communion in another church either, or I have excommunicated myself. It tears at me.
Anyway, too deep for a fun thread...
Yes, a good weekend.
I repped ya and they went up 100 for ya
thanks a bunch hun . . . how ya doin finding your way around . . .
This happened to a friend of mine . . . he is now very happy at my church . . . and we welcomed him with opened arms, so he has gotten
very involved and is so thankful I invited him to come and see . . .
Lifting you up in prayer . . .
I don't think so. This forum generates 1000 posts per day when the reps work and it encourages folks to be site supporters. So it would be a financially dumb decision.
