  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi everyone, not a good week for me so apologies if I don't post as much, and if I do I will try to be cheerful and normal (whatever that is )

Supposed to be being a pin cushion again today and not feeling very happy. Then seeing the haematologist on Friday and he will NOT be happy of no bloods available. Not looking forward to this week at all, and also feeling really scared about the outcome on Friday. Am I still clear? Booo hooo am so scared.

Thanks! Yeah, it is a Monday yet it is with no moon for the clouds have covered the skies here.

Also, dang! Just like the weather, my body is down on the bed with nothing to do but to sleep, watch TV, internet via ipad. No work other than that.

However, I managed to attend the serenade to the Blessed Mother, a walk with a rosary prayer, and a Holy Mass. These are the only good that ever happened to me today.

I suspect that I may be up late, I had a nap from 17:00 until around 21:00 so sleep is likely to come after 02:00

Naps are good, but they can mess with normal sleep times

Reporting in to the pub with rain here as well. Lots of yellow and red rain on the radar for us. Sounds as if we're in for a good dousing for the next couple of days. Now if i can only catch a wee break in the clouds i'll move my car outside for a free car wash!

I got some frozen hamburger meat out of the freezer to thaw this morning, and will be making up a batch of baked spaghetti for dinner this evening. I have the breadsticks to go with it, and lots of motz cheese for the top. YUM!

I checked my e-mail today and so far no response from the church on my enquiry.
