whoa. I`ve only ever seen one cat attack a person like that. and of course its my cat. she goes a little (read: alot) nuts when she sees a cat outside the window and if she gets distracted by a person or one of the other cats inside she`ll go crazy and attacks to kill. I think its some hormone in the brain that is triggered when they go into territorial mode so they can`t really reason through who or what they`re attacking just that they need to attack to defend.
of course that being said, now that my cat is old she still goes into psycho mode and will attack anyone/thing except me. She will actually let me pick her up until she calms down. weird.
