I like to see snow, and the last time we got any significant snowfall, it was on national television! And that was 5 years ago!!! Shreveport hosts the Independence Bowl every year, and December 2000 we got 3 inches that night!!! My mom called it the Snow Bowl! Snow I can deal with, ice I don't like! One of the last really big ice storm we had, I slipped down my front steps, and broke my arm at the rotary cuff!

OUCH !

The last time we got any snow to talk about was in '83 when we got 6" and it lasted till almost noon.

Other then that we got some about 5 yrs ago on easter, but it didn't even stick. It was nice to watch it come down and to try and catch it on your tounge. LOL

The moisture is coming up from the Carolina's...for us N'oreasters like that usually bring us bad storms...either in summer or winter.

Morning friends, I'm outta here in a few, I have to work today. Hopefully I'll be back on this evening.

I always llike to read J1K's and Mamabears' conversations, since he lives close to me geographically, and she lives close to my mom.

yeah, if you want to go find snow here, you got to go up to the mountains. Otherwise, it has been warmer than normal, even.
