I am a bit of a foodie, love cooking and trying new things. Although some days I just don't feel like spending a lot of time making supper, today would be one of those days. It is hard work lurking around this forum reading all the interesting posts and I ended up forgetting about lunch lol.

I am trying to decide what to make that is fast, easy and yummy. I have my regular go-to meals like pasta salad, grill cheese, blt's, ect. But was thinking it would be interesting to hear some ideas from other people.

What is your comfort food? Or quick recipe? Or something that sounds crazy but tastes amazing!

I feel like I've been left out of the tuna and fruit loop lol. Why have I never heard of this stuff?!?
Oh it’s a big thing. I make a smoked chicken salad that uses fruit and nuts. Everyone loves it. I think you will like this option.

Instant pot is just great for quick one-pot meals. Sauté aromatics and brown meat right in the pot, add liquid and other veg, seal and cook! Today I made an Indian chicken dish that way, it was quick and easy!

I’ll also make a shameless plug for the instant pot vortex air fryer. It has a rotisserie spit and a rotisserie basket. Amazed how quickly I can make a meal in there as well. It has multiple shelves so you can cook a couple things at once, and it heats up in 2-3 minutes.

Though I generally like to bake from scratch, I also keep frozen chopped onions, and tubed ginger and garlic paste on hand for when I’m sort on time or don’t have fresh on hand.

I've been considering getting an air fryer. I love fried food but try to eat it rarely so that would be a healthy alternative.
There is a guy named Shane in the food forum that has one and seems to really like it.
