Actually I think Wednesday is the only day with a pure name origin. I heard it's weddingsday..but then again, I have been known to be wrong..
I wonder what the greater evil is? Celebrating the atoning sacrifice (propitiation for my KJVO friends) one Sunday morning, or totally rejecting that idea for fear that some pagans might misinterpret the glory we give to JESUS for giving Himself for us for their little insigificant god?The followers of Ishtar will be happy when you call it Easter I reckon
Wow! I did not think I would receive this many replies. First please do not argue or debate about this matter. If you don't believe in soul ties do not come back to this thread. Working out your own salvation doesnt require you believing in soul ties. I just know what the Lord has told me and due to my obedience I was healed.
I dealt with torment, spirit of heaviness, and oppresion for 15 years. I forgave, loved, prayed, read the Word of God, and I couldnt understand why I wasn't healed from my sickness and my pain that I suffered because of the sexual abused. I fasted and I was desperate. The Lord told me I need to break every soul tie from my soul. About 50 to 60 to be exact. As soon as I did that, the next morning I was a different woman. I was healed and He is healing me on a daily bases.
Just because you haven experienced it doesn't mean it is not true. Dont limit God and don't insult others because of your beliefs. There are millions of people in this world, not everything will be treated one way when it comes to God. I am no longer interested in this thread. I havent even read the replies. I will trust what the Lord told me anyways. I was just curious to what people think.
It is a spirit, especially molestation, I felt it on a young baby girl once, I was spending time with her and I had the most gross thought. I put that thought in subjection to Gods Word and I prayed over her.
The word rapture isn't in the Bible either - makee uppy about that too?

He was right, it was Wodansday, after Wodan.. one of the many variants of Odin, Wottan, Woden, etc etc.Actually I think Wednesday is the only day with a pure name origin. I heard it's weddingsday..but then again, I have been known to be wrong..
My question is what if someone was lusting over you, thinking about you, or anything that would connect them to your presence, could that be a soul tie?
when i was in one church i recall them talking about "soul ties" yet the same time it really isn't Biblical. Becoming one flesh is not the same as binding of the soul..Is there a possibility that you could have a soul tie without willingly allowing it? I know that you can get soul ties from intercourse, emotionally, and spiritually.
No. even if some say it does, it is not Biblical that thinking about something or somebody makes them one with you.My question is what if someone was lusting over you, thinking about you, or anything that would connect them to your presence, could that be a soul tie?
That is not a soul tie, that is simply the sin of lust.I was watching a biography about a young woman who was one of the most popular sex symbols. When I was watching it something said to me all those men lusting after her, can you imagine the soul ties she had to deal with?
Okay, i will be frank. while i believe some doors can be opened to spiritual oppression, from experience i have been a witness to people putting in their beliefs that are not Biblically sound into their prayers and advice. Sometimes a person rebukes or proclaims something that is based on church brain washing and some sort of mainstream teaching, that has nothing to do with the Word of God. Sometimes even God will speak through people and use people frequently, but because people are still human, they still make mistakes. While it is possible to be spiritually oppressed by demons (influence of demons is Biblical), soul ties are not Biblical.I was a victim in sexual abuse and when I called a prayer line to pray against something I was dealing with (lust from other people), this lady started to bind spirits off me that I had no clue I had. I didnt get offended but I was curious. She seemed like a very anointed woman of God so I just dont think this was a mistake. I also heard how these spirits would linger on us and I notice how throughout the years men treated me until now.
and every strong emotional experience that I have with someone bonds me to them, then I will spend the rest of my life trying to get free from all these soul ties. And then I won't have time to do anything else. So yeah. Let me live a life of utter and complete frustration because I'm trying to get myself to a spiritual place where I can be "mature" and "help others" to get free of them while I bond with them and get to know them, thus creating another soul tie I have to get free from. And the cycle will continue. Then I can blame the devil for everything.
I understand that. Look at what I said in the context of your statement.Emotional bonding is not soul bonding. Soul ties are not Biblical. When we are around persons, we learn from them, and sometimes they have an impact on us negative or positive, and sometimes these experiences if focused on can open doors to demonic oppression, or if the experience is positive and makes us wonder about the Lord, and we focus on the Lord, we can grow closer to the Lord. We are not tied to a person's soul simply because we are affected. These people are not controlling your soul dear one, the war is not against flesh and blood, but principalities, etc.
Ephesians 6:
11Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
13Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
The Lord also commands us to be witnesses and help people. that is not a soul tie either. The Lord does not promise an easy life. But never once are soul ties truly mentioned in the Bible.
What about soulknitting? Isn't that the Word of God?Emotional bonding is not soul bonding. Soul ties are not Biblical.
