  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I leave the determination up to the moderators... Nothing "Godly" if flowing as long is is unsubstantiated accusations. You were afforded the opportunity to "show me" the error of my way, and you chose instead to post more insults., both publicly and privately.


I apologize to the open forum for my conduct... taking reformationist's comment personally when he has no intention to do anything other than sling mud at those who don't agree with his theology.

As you so poignantly stated in your numerous PMs to me, apologies mean nothing if followed by further insult.

Here's a tip, from your "professing brother in Christ," focus on bringing your own slanderous insults into captivity and pray that the Lord will help me overcome my sinfulness. That is, after all, what we do for our siblings, right?

A lot of people don't agree with my theology malaka. That doesn't make it wrong, just as you would say about your own.

As I have already PUBLICALLY apologized to you only to have it be thrown in my face I'll not make the attempt again.

However, I do emphatically apologize to the opening poster for hijacking his honestly motivated thread. Maybe this type of interaction between Christians will show you that we are just people too and, as such, are subject to getting caught up in sinfulness just like everyone else. But, being a Christian, I'm sure you already knew that. I am going to unsubscribe from this thread so as to avoid further conflict that doesn't involve your questions and I pray that the Lord will lead you to finding the answers you seek.
