Of coarse I deny that, and more importantly, so does God. It's foolish with all due respect. The "J" wasn't invented until the 16th century. How is it possible that His was named Jesus?

In case you wanted to know....To fulfill prophesy, the messiahs name was Yahshua- it means Yahweh is salvation/ or Yahweh saves.

If you don't care when you celebrate Easter, then you are not celebrating Easter because Easter is how you keep your Jewish Messiah Passover which begins on the 14th Hebrew day of Nisan for 7 days, also called the Day of Unleavened Bread. This is how disciples kept the Passover, it was for the Jew first, then the Gentiles. Passover is not for the Jew only but also the Gentile, because you are not a Jew outwardly but in your heart. It's not a Jewish or Gentile Passover, it's the Lord's Passover...

As for Jesus, this word means Savior and deliverer, and if He's your Savior, then He is your Yasha', which is the only Hebrew word that means Savior and deliverer at the same time, and no other Hebrew name...

Where does this definition come from?

I don't care what it's called, Easter or Resurrection day, it's the day we celebrate Christ's resurrection.

We are not to tolerate anything that is false, destructive, or deceitful when attributed to His shem. That would include false gods, false prophets, false religions, false doctrines, false teachings, and even false translations. The consequence of tinkering with Yahweh’s Scripture, corrupting it, is severe. We changed Passover to "easter" even in His scriptures. We're pathetic.

God the Father created all things through Jesus (John 1v3). God spoke the word and the world was created; Jesus is the word and all things came into being through him.

Romeo, i celebrate the Resurrection when the calendar says it is 'Easter'. Why? Because the kids are out of school, the chocolate is in the stores, and i love chocolate for a celebration. I could just as easily celebrate a Messianic Passover......it is all good to me. Everyday is a good day to celebrate the Resurrection. But then i come from pure pagan stock, if i were a Jewish believer i would no doubt insist on a Messianic Passover. The Bible does say the Lord rose on a Sunday.

pascha is the word used in Acts 12:4 and in 29 places in total. It is properly translated Passover 28 times.

Pascha is the proper term for the Resurrection of Christ, forshadowed by the defunct Jewish holiday of Passover. How many times is the proper name Iesous used in the NT ?

Problem & Background: Yahh only has one day which He made holy, and desires for man to regard ‘el Sabbath day in high esteem, above another day.

Lesson Summary: The Sabbath day was highly regarded unto Yahh because He sanctified one day for man to honour Him by ceasing from work, cooking, cleaning, buying and selling. Man can be holy and honour ‘el everyday; but man can’t make a day holy and hold a sacred day to worship Yahh, accept during the seventh day of the week. Only ‘el has the power to make a day holy which He already created a holy day during the seventh day of the week. Since man can be holy that does not make a day holy, right? But on Yahh’s holy day, Yahh relays specific instructions about how you must observe Him on this sacred day, set aside from another day in which you cease business, sex, sports, personal activities, and nonreligious entertainment.
