  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a question for everyone.

What's your purpose in life?

I want to know. I'm trying to get my life in line, and I need some help, from you, from everyone, but mainly from God. I feel like I am seperated from Him somehow, and I don't like it.

To live, love, and be loved for the rest of eternity. This isn't possible without God.

Right now for you, I suggest that you pray to God and ask Him to reveal to you His will and purpose for you. Ask Him to give you a sense of value and meaning. If you're sincere with that prayer, then He'll respond.

I have a question for everyone.

What's your purpose in life?

I want to know. I'm trying to get my life in line, and I need some help, from you, from everyone, but mainly from God. I feel like I am seperated from Him somehow, and I don't like it.

Recognize what it is that makes you feel seperated. Is it the influences of the world? Your job? Your friends? Yourself?

Rid yourself of that part of you that is rejecting Jesus. Jesus cannot enter into your heart completely so long as you hold on to the silly petty things of the world.

The guidance within you, the Holy Spirit, is the divine will of God for us to embrace one another as brothers and God's children. This divine will has been here since the beginning. The divine will is for us to move towards a heaven that is already here.

To know this...is to know your destiny.

Do not reject your purpose.

Recognize what your true love is within you.

It is only you who can bring these things to light in your mind and your heart. It is you who decides to drink or not to drink.

I would love to give everyone a university degree...this is not possible.

It is only YOU, who is to blame for not establishing once and for all your conviction within your heart.

Fear not, for even ignorance serves God (unknowingly) as a contrast to all that is good (wisdom).

So there you have it, at this point it does not matter to God.

I recommend a loving life full of grace and peace.

More valuable than anything in the world.

The world lacks more enlightened ones. So long as children are starving to death in the world, the world is lacking of enligtened ones.

The mystery of God will long out live any of us alive today. His divine will surpasses all divisions and time.

Giving is the secret to keeping yourself connected to the true self (your heart) and the divine will of Jesus, who embraces the future of mankind.

Love builds up in you.

You can find a source of love within you from the Holy Spirit. You have to have conviction in your heart that embraces completely (or at least the possibility of), the existence of the Holy Spirit.

Why do we have a brain so large, yet only use 10% of it? Does the divine will and the Holy Spirit have a use for it?

Our large brain does exist, yet, no reason (yet) exists for what the large brain capacity is to be used for.

Simply open up to the possibility that something may be going on in the universe that we do not know about...yet!

This is the correct place to start for all of you who want to embrace the Holy Spirit.

It is by experiencing these words written, not by merely reading them, that you may find your true love...Jesus.

Jesus loves YOU!

Thanks for your honesty.

Everyone one. All Christians sooner or later go through times of doubt and uncertainty.

Fall into His arms, by faith, kiss His heart. Remember His heart has been broken for you. Think about His wounded hands and feet. Ask Him to show show what He needs for you to see. He loves you so very much. He did not die on the cross to abandon you now. He will help you.

It really is all about loving Christ. Everything else comes from that. Be convinced of His love and you will then see your purpose is to love in Him in return.

As far as the practical things in life, all will unfold one step at a time.

Here's a reminder of His love for you. Watch this short video.

We all have the same purpose in life. It is to love God and keep His commands. If you want to follow that purpose you need to study and find out what His commands really are then go and do them.

As far as feeling separated right now I can only say do these things:
1: Have faith that God is there when you do not see or hear Him.

2: Continue to hold onto that faith while you press on in life.

3: Study the bible and pray.

4: Surround yourself with christians who will hold you up even if it hurts you to be with them because of envy of them having such closeness with God.

My purpose in life is to seek Christ alone, listen to His voice and never give up on my hope.
I like to sum up my mission statement in the lines of my favourite songs:

"I live to know You more... for me to live is Christ, to know You is my life."
-Know You More, Hillsong

"I will go where you send me, Lord. Jesus my whole life is yours..."
-Spirit of The Lord, Youth Alive
(I sung the latter song at a church I visited once... really awesome song!)

God bless!
Forever... Steph x
