2004 Proverbs 31 translated by Emily

A good woman is better than a new computer or a new car.
Her husband trusts her because she is not wasteful.
She will always do right and not wrong in her husbands eyes.
She is industrious.
She keeps the fridge and cupboards well stocked.
She gets up early and keeps appointments.
She invests money wisely and works hard for the increase.
She keeps in shape.
She knows in her heart she is not lazy.
She has diverse talents.
She not only takes care of her family, but the poor also.
She prepares for the differnt seasons.
She takes care of herself, looks good(clean and healthy), and has good quality clothing.
Her husband is knowen in the workplace.
She also works hard.
Strength and honor are her clothing and she looks forward to the future.
"She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness."
She knows all the aspects of maintaining a house and is not lazy about it.
Her children love her, her husband too, and he praises her.
She wants to be the best she can.
"Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised."
She deserves a paycheck in the workplace and at home you can see that she has worked hard.

I encourage all you women to turn to Proverbs 31 in your own bible and translate it in a way that is applicable to your own life and family. These are sayings that I want to demonstrate in my own life, in my own home. The bold lines are straight from the bible. I felt they needed no further translation for application. Enjoy this study!
