In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Trump called O’Donnell a disgruntled employee but he didn’t deny allegations made in the book during an interview with Playboy magazine in 1999:

“Nobody has had worse things written about them than me,” Trump says. “And here I am. The stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true. The guy’s a ****** loser. A ******* loser. I brought the guy in to work for me; it turns out he didn’t know that much about what he was doing. I think I met the guy two or three times total. And this guy goes off and writes a book about me, like he knows me!”

This is what O'Donnell alleges.


"The stuff"... What stuff? This is fairly unclear. It's a bit of a leap to say that this is Donald's full agreement that he actually said the quote above.

So while this piece of evidence looks indicting, it's not all that convincing.

The stuff written in the book. Are you hoping for a futuristic brain scan of Donald Trump giving exactly what he was talking about to the smallest detail? I mean, your standard of evidence seems to be an absolute 100% Donald Trump saying "I am a racist".

No. You've just not proven it beyond a reasonable doubt. If this were a court of law then Trump would be easily acquitted based on the evidence presented so far.

Remember, the title of this thread is Prove that Trump is a Racist. Proof is significantly more difficult than assertion. We've seen plenty of the latter.
