As some of you have heard I along with others have been asked to be a moderator on the forum. This has caused me to come across a problem with doing any 'mod' work on the Sabbath:
I accepted with the understanding that I can only give my undivided attention when I am not at work (9-5) and of course Sabbath I set aside, when I feel I should only 'mod' to help a brother or sister that has fallen into a 'deep hole' to help them out.....This leads me to a important point, we need to set up a Quiet Time in the main debate forum so moderators can also have rest from their labors if posible, comparable to a Adventist nurse or doctor not working if possible on the Sabbath. I am going to present it to Tall73 to incorporate in the rules but need everyones support.
Quiet Time- A time of no debate on the Sabbath so 'mod's' can rest, they would be on 'call' like a doctor or work just as a nurse to assist as needed in case sometime comes, but there would be no debate as that causes the most common issues.
