I think so. There is some truth to that but I would not generalize/universalize. There is some correlation between authority and revelation but it is not a strict one. That's my opinionGod gives certain authority to people based on the degree of revelation they receive.

I know mechri is a conjunction. But that is what my lexicon says it is. Do you say you know better than the BDAG, which states, "2. marker of continuance in time up to a point, until"?
I know mechri is a conjunction.
Being conjunctive does not change the meaning of mechri from "purpose" to "duration" (mechris).
Depends on the scholars. That seems to be you giving your opinion over and above what the BDAG lexicon says about the word. It's fine for your to have your own view of the word, but that's not what the scholarship thinks.
Depends on the scholars.
Nor does your lexicon of choice indicate that conjunction changes a word from mechri to mechris.
Until has two meanings: duration and purpose. But the lexicon very clearly says it means "until" with no uncertain terms.
Thayer lexicon says of this verse, "with the force of a conjunction: till, followed by the subj., Eph. 4:13.*" So it is not only the BDAG that says this.
NASB 2020 Greek Dictionary says, "μέχρι mechri or μέχρις mechris; a prim. word; as far as, until: — even(1), far(1), point(2), until(9)."
Mounce Greek Dictionary says, "improper preposition and a conj (until), can also spelled μέχρις, unto, even to, Rom. 15:19; of time, until, till, Mt. 11:23; Mk. 13:30"
Until has two meanings: duration and purpose.
In Eph 4:11-13, it's meaning is "purpose."
Your data does not deal with the issue.
I don't intend to show you are right or wrong. As you immerse yourself in Jesus and HIs Word, and read and read and Read His Word, as the Father in heaven reveals to you His Meaning, you will have much pain and sorrow in this world of sin if you belief the truth and continue to take a stand for the truth : you will be blessed with Life, but suffer much persecution. (from the religious community and from the irreligious as well)I hope you can see where I am coming from. But if you can't, could you please show me where I am wrong?
Or perhaps rather, if not also: The Creator gives authority to whom He Chooses to do so, as He Reveals Salvation , by Revelation, to little children whom He Chooses,You can read the OP to see the details, but basically the theory is that God gives certain authority to people based on the degree of revelation they receive. There are many examples in the Bible (including Jesus).
