What's a baptist? I mean what's the minimum you'll require to say hey that chap's a baptist.

It's funny how you posted in one thread about nails in terms of wearing them and then this post....

I am Australian so what is POT LUCK???

I am daring to ask here as the word 'luck' does not go with being Christian.... please don't tell me its a horseshoe?

You Aussies must have an equivalent of some sort. Basically it is a meal where everyone brings some food and shares it.

Ok, NOW you're reading WAY to much into me! LOL A potluck is also know as a covered dish meal. Where everyone brings a dish to share, and more importantly...everyone EATS! hehehehehe

OHHH now I am with you, basically it means you watch for those that have bad habits like picking noses and don't wash hands in the bathroom and you avoid that POT LUCK with all your might?

guess I do, but it's true. I look at who cooked it and think, "will I risk it?"

Maybe God protects you at times like this, I always wondered if God protected those sharing a communion cup also?
