  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello evryone I have recently been having major attacks on my faith. I was near to disbelieving God but i pulled myself out of it and back to him again. I ask of you all for simple prayers that my faith will stay strong in the winds against it. That I shall not fall and that my roots will hold me firmly in the ground.

Dear Lord, let Your love surround SpreadTheTruth1. Let Your Holy Spirit encompass and strengthen him as the enemy buffets. Let the prayers of those stronger form a protective barrier against the enemy. Praise you Lord for your goodness and mercy. Glory be to You oh Lord for your Grace and love toward him! I thank you for his life and for the gifts you have placed within him for The Body of Christ! I thank you for the future you have for him! Thank you for this young warrior, Jesus! Bless him and show Yourself to Him as the strong and mighty King you are!

Your friend is objecting to the Lord because he feels the conviction of His presence in you. Do not be surprised if you say nothing and your friend cuts off contact anyway!!! This is NOT a rejection of you it is a rejection of Jesus. (Jesus tells us this in the New Testament.) Which friend is more important to you? One that sticketh closer than a brother and can change your life for the better (Jesus)? Or another young man who is struggling worse than you and hasn't got much figured out even though he may think he does?
I suggest you not condemn your friend, on the contrary be as friendly as ever but pray for them to get a revelation of Jesus Christ. Ask Jesus to touch their life and heart. Read 2 Tim chapter 2, it tells you what love is about in this Christian walk of ours. (Charity is the translated word for love in KJV.) Above all everything we do should be done out of love! When we get to this point, we will be walking as Paul and the Apostles walked.
