  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey guys!!!

Okay, as most of you know I go to a christian boarding school. Let's just say it's not the cheapeast and out family is not the richest...we've gotten every financial aid opportunity that we can. Well...I have to raise 1000 dollars by June 15th or they won't take me back for first quarter. I would be going to the public high school. I haven't been to public school since 6th grade!! I think it would be kinda fun and a challenge myself...but I know it's not the best option.

So can you please pray for God's will to work out??

hah.. story of my college life. I'm praying for ya! I had to make the private-to-public switch twice... in 6th grade and in 10th. It was a lot easier in high school. If you have to do it, take honors classes and also try to get into a Gifted/Talented Magnet School. Then it won't seem quite as different.

Praying that you get everything you need and don't have to uproot!
