Thank you, Linus, Manitouscott and Milan45 and all of you, again. (I suspect referring to you all as the cavalry might be offensive to native American people)

John and Carl will have visited my mother again today, though he was going to have a break from the hospital visits. I expect I'll get some news tonight.

Wow, now that's God at work, all the Praises go to Him, just keep on keeping on sweet LORD for Anna's complete recovery, In Jesus Name, Amen

Thank you, Stephanie. I'm sure our Lord appreciates some credit being given to his soldiers, though! Though I expect our humility is not unattractive to him, either, now I think of it!

Thanks again for continuing to keep Anna and her family in your prayers, folks. I always tend to jump the gun a bit, I'm afraid, though. Anna's health has taken a step back, but she's in a better frame of mind, to persevere with some dialysis. I haven't given up hope of a miracle by any means, mind you.

I had tended to become a bit complacent, worrying more then for my mother (with senile dementia) in the respite-care home. John wondered whether they had done for the right thing in opting for the second operation. But it's normal to hope, to try for life, even if the quality isn't that great, when the alternative is to pass away. But thank goodness, whenever the time does come, it seems they will have long been reconciled to it. I'll continue to keep you posted, if I may.

Thank you, Callie and whitebeaches! All of you kind folk.

John told me yesterday that Anna was looking great; she hadn't looked as well for a long time. They had drained off several litres of urine, as they did from Anthea on a couple of occasions. I assume that was urine, too, although it was referrred to as 'fluid'. There is something else they want to look at, so she'll be having an endoscopy.

Well, thank you for all your prayers, folks. The operation was a dangerous one. Anna's home now and enjoying sitting in the garden in the sun and being back home with the family.
