  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Father I pray for my sister here that you will fill her with your love. Let her drink of the water you give and never thirst oh God...let her desire be only to draw near to you and so you would draw near to her as your word says. Let your spirit speak to her heart and may she set her mind on things of you...and not on vainful things. In you is fullness of joy, peace and rest oh God...let her hearts cry be to know you more. May her heart be covered in your blood Jesus...thank you that you offer us peace that flows like a river...thank you for your grace and mercy...thank you for your hand on this child...

Lord Jesus, bless this young woman, sheepof the shepherd with contentment and joy. Give her peace and help her when she is thinking and desiring things. Lord, supply all her needs and please give her the desires of her heart, so she may in joy and happiness, bring glory to Your name. For your names sake, amen.
