I am a firm believer in prayer of intercession, and the power of God to do Miracles in our lives.
My husband Leon is going for a test tomorrow to discover if they can do surgery. Last fall after an ultrasound they found a severly blocked carotid artery. He has arterial sclerosis and has suffered with severe heart disease.
The doctor sent him to a surgeon who did an mra and decided that a stent would be a better choice than surgery because of the risk to his heart. He sent him to another surgeon who specializes in stents. Although the second surgeon agreed that the stent would be a better choice considering his other health problems medicare would not approve it.
So back to the first surgeon who said it may be too late if the artery is completely closed. He is having an ultrasound done tomorrow morning. If it is not completely blocked they will do the surgery next week.
This is what we were told by every doctor,
1. If something is not done and he has a stroke it would be a catastrophic one because he is left handed, and right brained.
2. Where the blockage is there is an increased chance that he will have a heart attack during or shortly after the surgery.
3. Surgery is the only option, the blockage cannot be ignored.
Now my prayer is that God who is the God who heals us, heal Leon completely when they do the test tomorrow they will find the blockage completely dissolved. That the blockages around his heart and in his legs will also be dissolved. I ask it in Jesus precious name.
Thank you
