I was checking out a song by one of our Aussie winners of the first Australian idol Guy Sebastian. He is a Christian and it was interesting to see his progress as he moved into the commercial world of music. he has put out a number of songs and they all have a good and positive message though they are not always mentioning God or religion. One thing I know he has a great voice and this was evident being the first winner of Australian idol. Since then there hasn't been many top singers so even though these type of shows find a lot of talent they often dont last long. I think Guy would have made it and been discovered without the show but the timing was right for him at that stage. Anyway here is one of my favorite songs.

Another song that reminds me of the above song from Guy Sebastian is a song from one of my favorite muso,s in Paddy Kelly. This song is a little similar to Guys song. Paddy was a priest for a while. He continues to inspire with his music.
