Something that helped me so much when I was battling my own illness was a bible verse--"Fix your eyes on Jesus..." Hebrews 12:2, NIV. I realized that if I could get my eyes on Him, I would be able to walk through any circumstance. Even Peter could walk on water if he just had his eyes on Him--and not the wind and the waves. Remember, that time he got out of the boat?

I don't know if this will help you, but it helped me so much. I began memorizing bible verses that comforted me, and saying them out loud when I was in trouble. It helped so much, so many times.

Psalm 23, for example, "The Lord is my Shepherd." How many times I recited that, calling out to Him, asking Him for His comfort! I still do this today--it brings me so much peace.

I am praying for God's comfort and peace to be with you today, and for His presence around you. May you know He is your Shepherd, guiding you, leading you beside those still waters and protecting you today.
