Mmmmm sounds good. Praying 2014 is free from health issues for you two!I made some home made turkey soup from the turkey left over from Thanksgiving day.
That should fix her up.

So glad you are feeling better. Continue to heal & take care of yourself.Hello Everyone
I wanted to write you all as soon as I was able, to tell you how much I appreciate your love, prayers, concern, and correspondence with Jim and I this past week....it meant so much to me!
I am feeling so much better than I did 1 week ago today in the ER, and considering the circumstances of a dead gallbladder that was ready to burst, I thank the good Lord for letting me see more days to come!
Yes, I am still weak and a bit uncomfortable at times, but I am making steady progress in healing through Jim and Penny's loving care!
In another 1-2 weeks and I'll be good as new....just in time for Christmas!
I may not be able to be online for some days yet, but know I am thanking the Lord for you every day!
God bless your dear hearts
Awww that's great news Gail...
You take it easy and allow your body the time to heal itself properly.
Great to see you back in here also. See you soon...
Great news Gail
Now take care - rest as much as you can and slowly mobilise.

Thankswe were also glad....any further delays could have been deadly :o
Until late Wednesday night (just coming on midnight)...NONE....except for fatigue in recent weeks with routine housework/activities and feeling 'winded' (short of breath) unrelated to my asthma.Indeed!
Were you having any symptoms at all before the attack?
Wow!Until late Wednesday night (just coming on midnight)...NONE....except for fatigue in recent weeks with routine housework/activities and feeling 'winded' (short of breath) unrelated to my asthma.
Early Thursday AM I felt some indigestion and had a restless night, then by noon I had a gnawing pain/discomfort under my right rib and radiating to my back....all I could do was pace the house (could not sit or lie down).
I ALMOST did not go to the ER, because it seemed to ease a bit just as my doc called me back, but he INSISTED I get down there in case it was a kidney or heart issue as well.
Within the hour I was doubled over in pain and very nauseous
He said 'for some time' to Jim post op; I will ask more specific questions on Monday at my follow up appt with him.Wow!
You would think that you would have had more issues than that before the onset of pain. How long did the doctor think your gall bladder had been like that?
Well no doubt. When you are that sick you just want relief! I'm just curious how long someone can go with a dead gallbladder. I have never heard of it dying. He said 'for some time' to Jim post op; I will ask more specific questions on Monday at my follow up appt with him.
I was too sick when there with migraines, post op pain, and a med reaction to boot... to even think of asking him. :o
Hello friends.
Servant of Merciful Love, aka my wife, just got back from the ER, after being there 10 hours.
She ended up bent over in pain this afternoon, from something they don't know what on. We thought it might be gall stones, but the CT Scan and blood work, seemed to rule that out.
Anyway, they put her on pain meds and set her up for an ultra sound tomorrow.
Please keep her in your prayers.
God Bless
Jim
