Ephesians 5:3 says,
But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints;
Since I have become a believer in Christ, in my journey out of the darkness of sin and into the light of righteousness, I have committed some of these things. But I've repented and confessed to God my wrongs. What does it mean to "be named among you?" Lots of Christians struggle with immoralities and impurities and greed. So is the struggle against sin the same as "be named among you?"

The simple answer is...keep yourself from doing these things as much as possible. That is what he is saying.

Just out of curiosity, why and how is that 'better'?
It is better because it is a more accurate translation. Do you see the difference between the generic "immorality" and "sexual immorality", and its connotations for "uncleaness"?
