Stephen A. Smith admits he regrets voting for Kamala Harris: ‘We’re not falling for it any longer’

“I don’t think anybody could dismiss Donald Trump at this particular moment in time and not just because of him but because of what we’ve seen the Democrats do. We’re not falling for it any longer. The American people aren’t falling for it any longer,” Mr. Smith told host Mark Levin.

“I voted Democrat. And I gotta tell you something right now — I don’t like the fact that I did. I don’t like what I’m seeing,”

Months before the elections, Dan Bongino would ask on his radio show, and also on his Rumble podcast, "Is it bad enough yet?" This was in context as to whether or not traditional Democratic voters would change their votes this election and vote for Donald Trump and other Republicans. IMO, the results of Trump winning 312 electoral college votes, as well as 3 million more votes than Kamala Harris, and also with the GOP winning the majority of the Senate does show that it really did get bad enough yet for millions of voters who normally would have voted for the Democratic Party candidates.

Its a disgrace that the banner of some quite legit criticism of the D's gets carried for everyone by such a morally compromised and self-centered celebrity.
He's not the only one. They're fleeing in droves, as if from a sinking ship.

Not sure about that. Even in our gerrymandered setup, the congress is pretty closely divided. So was the preference of the voters for pres. I think it was appx 2% separation.

I do think Trump can drag out the good will via deficit fueled tax cuts and spending tho.

Not sure about that.
It has been going on for years.

More than 1 million voters switch to GOP, raising alarm for Democrats

Politics Jun 27, 2022 4:30 PM EST
WASHINGTON (AP) — A political shift is beginning to take hold across the U.S. as tens of thousands of suburban swing voters who helped fuel the Democratic Party’s gains in recent years are becoming Republicans.
More than 1 million voters across 43 states have switched to the Republican Party over the last year, according to voter registration data analyzed by The Associated Press. The previously unreported number reflects a phenomenon that is playing out in virtually every region of the country — Democratic and Republican states along with cities and small towns — in the period since President Joe Biden replaced former President Donald Trump.

Shortly after that article was published in 2022, the majority voted Democrat in the midterms. So not a great example.

Regarding the 2024 election, it may not take long before Trump's atrocities push voters away.

I'm not impressed by an anecdote. I don't regret voting for Harris. Come up with a better candidate. It shouldn't be difficult.
Then why didn’t they? They chose the lowest rated vp to run. Why was there not someone better?
