How do they relate to the church? They are people who either don't know our God, have defiled themselves or have chosen not to obey the commands of God now that they are in the congregation of faith.

Exodus 12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

Exodus 12:45 A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.

But of course, those aren't different people, they are all different names for the same people--gentiles.
