Occupy Wall Street kitchen slowdown targets squatters - NYPOST.com

/facepalm

I guess actual homeless people are too real life for the 99% folks.

I have a feeling they wont learn any lessons from this. Giving things away for free is generally a bad idea.

Hahaha, people living in a park calling others derelicts.

A security volunteer added that the cooks felt “overworked and underappreciated.”

Now you understand how the American taxpayer feels.

Bwahahahaha.

I honestly don't care anymore.

I talk about how sick and disgusting the attitude of the Tea Party is but you know what? I'll be honest. The Occupiers I see protesting on the streets aren't exactly five-star model citizens either. It seems like more and more of the wrong type of crowd are coming out. I'm really pulling for the more reasonable people to eventually pull through, but as I've learned on this board, the most vocal are the ones that get the most noticed.

The... most... vocal... that gives me an idea.

Sheep's milk... what?!? What makes milk from a sheep better than a cow?!?

I'm starting to get tired too, especially with the New York crowd. I'm surprised it took this long for incidents like this to come to the surface. From what I hear these are mostly college students, and if they're anything like the idiots at my school, they're, well, idiots. Perpetually drunk idiots. And they're being mentored by aging hippie-types. There are some genuinely rational, eloquent people there, but they're drowned out by the ones vandalizing local businesses.

Hopefully they'll be gone before too long. Maybe to regroup and be a bit more organized next time. I really do sympathize with the cause, but we haven't had effective protests since the Vietnam War (to my knowledge) so maybe we just need to get warmed up. Perhaps one of the groups in another city will have a breakthrough; I hear tell of some sort of boycott planned in Oakland. Don't know exactly what they mean by that but it sounds like some of them are at least going to try to be a little more proactive.
