I really have no interest. You can still read those threads if you want to, so I'm not sure why you'd wonder this.
The answer should be obvious. They wish to communicate among themselves.I’ve noticed a lot of threads with “Catholics only* at the beginning of their title. Do any of you know why?
Perhaps they are planning something nice for the rest of us.The answer should be obvious. They wish to communicate among themselves.
A moderator in one of those threads posted that the "Catholics only" in the title cannot and does not restrict the non-Catholics from posting. That was last week I think or whenever, I don't remember and didn't try to remember - it wasn't or didn't seem important then....
i.e. IF it really makes no restriction, as is likely then [ It is just a scam tactic ] (my opinion)
Is this true in some threads , or all sections, or limited ? Thanks !
HOW they title the threads is one thing, but letting them restrict the threads differently than the forum rules, that is akin to sin/ rebellion/ anarchy, isn't it?
I sympathize in principle with your thinking, but the issue concerns the rules of play. It doesn't really matter if it is the Catholics who are in focus here or some other denomination. It is a valid question. But we're Anglicans. I'd like to think we're more tolerant and more welcoming...in the forum and at the Chalice. It's a reason I'm here and not there.
