Purity Equals God’s Trust not His Salvation

Scriptures which show that curtain actions which take the body to a higher level of physical purity will correspond directly to the degree which Christ will entrust Himself to you with truth or knowledge.
John 2:23-24 Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed (4100) in His name, beholding His signs (4592) which He was doing. But Jesus, on His part, was not entrusting (4100) Himself to them, for He knew all men, and because He did not need anyone to bear witness concerning man for He Himself knew what was in man. We see that during this special time when the people were observing the ordinance of the Passover Jesus was ably to do many signs. The same reason that Jesus was ably to do these signs was the same reason that many believed, or put their faith in or entrusted themselves to Jesus. Even though these people entrusted themselves to Jesus, Jesus did not entrust Himself to them. In other words, Jesus did not believe in their commitment to Him. Jesus knew that there was something in all men that would need to be removed before He could entrust Himself to them, or reveal Himself to them. That is why this passage of scripture in John comes immediately after John’s account of Jesus scourge the temple. John2:21 “But He was speaking of the temple of His body”. These people who believe did not have His scourging, and therefore were still of a double-mind.

Daniel 1:8 But Daniel made up his mind that he would not defile himself with the king’s food or with the wine which he drink; … Defile – to make filthy; pollute, to corrupt. Daniel made a commitment in his mind to God that he would not make filthy, pollute or other wise corrupt his body by taking into his body the food which the King was providing. We see latter on what this food did to the king; he went out of his royal mind until he got off of it for seven years.
1:16-17 So the overseer continued to withhold their choice food and kept giving them vegetables. And as for these four youths’ God gave them knowledge and intelligence in every branch of literature and wisdom; Daniel even understood all kinds of visions and dreams. Daniel, by taking this stand and consuming only vegetables and water for three years, was taken from a normal level of knowledge and intelligence to where he could even understand visions and dreams.
1:20 And as for every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king consulted them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and conjurers who were in all his realm. Through the actions that Daniel took God rewarded not only Daniel but also his three friends, which took the same actions. Even a simple man can see that this was no small improvement when you are being compared with the smartest men in the country.
2:21-22 … He gives wisdom to the wise men, and knowledge to men of understanding. It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, And the light dwells with Him. God has profound and hidden things which He wants to reveal but only to men who will act on the understanding that God has given them today. For it is in the taking of the action, that knowledge is added to understanding and wisdom to the wise, that these profound and hidden things are revealed to them.
2:28 However, there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the latter days. …
2:30 But as for me, this mystery has not been revealed to me for any wisdom residing in me more than in any other living man, … Daniel is telling us that his physical body is no different than any other living human body. In other words, God does not show favoritism, but rewards the mind, or heart, if we are willing to cleans ourselves from all defilement of the flesh and spirit. 2Cor7:1
10:1-3 …and the message was true and one of great conflict, but he understood the message and had an understanding of the vision. In those days I, Daniel, had been mourning for three entire weeks. I did not eat any tasty food, nor did meat or wine enter my mouth, nor did I use any ointment at all, until the entire three weeks were completed. Here we see that Daniel even after his three years on vegetables set aside three weeks to take his purity to a higher degree were God rewarded him by enabling him to understand the days of the end of time.

2:4 “But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.” God has not changed the way He operates and will continue to reward men with knowledge who’s zeal for their bodies continues to take them higher in purity. Daniel and his three friends entered the king’s personal service after the three years were completed and we will not enter the King of kings service until our three years of purification are completed.
This same picture can be seen in the lives of Joseph, Gideon, King Saul (in reverse) King David, Solomon, and in any other great men of the Bible but none are as clear as Daniel.

Your eternity is secure in Christ, for every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, for we see in Matthew 5:18-20 that there is only two types of peoples, those who obey God’s instructions and those who disobey. If the ones who disobey go to Hades, how is it that there in heaven? The ones who obey are vessels for honor and those who do not obey are vessels for dishonor. 2Tim2:20 In the kingdom of heaven we understand from Jesus’ own words that both the obedient and the disobedient are in heaven together at some point for eternity. Since all people are sinners and are in heaven only by the blood of Christ how can one be recognized for their obedience unless there are also ones there who are recognized for their disobedience? The one defines the other. Rom9:22-23
Jesus goes on to point out that our righteousness must surpass that of the scribes and Pharisees. (The scribes are the people who write about the word of God and the Pharisees are the religious leaders of the day.) Mat23:25 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self-indulgence. Mat9:12 “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick. “But go and learn what this means, ‘I desire compassion, and not sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” It is clear that there is something inside of us that needs to be removed that is making us sick. Sick people are sinners that need Jesus but until you understand what it means to have compassion for your temple you will continue to substitute “sacrifice” of your body. Our loving God is not going to discard people because they have robbed Him of that which was His, (2Tim11-13) but will send them into captivity, where time in this environment repays what was taken illegally in the name of sacrifice. You can pay God now, or pay Him much more latter, either way you will complete purity.
Luke 12:58 “For while you are going with your opponent to appear before the magistrate, on you’re way there make an effort to settle with him, in order that he may not drag you before the judge, and the judge turn you over to the constable, and the constable throw you into prison. “I say to you, you shall not get out of there until you have paid the very last cent.” Your opponent in this case is seeing the situation differently from you but is telling you the truth otherwise the case would have been dismissed. The point here is that we have one who disobeyed the law, yet he was not discarded for eternity but placed in a holding cell were time is repaying what he owed. The love of God rehabilitates convicts, but the shame of their former actions will be carried by them for eternity. Ezekiel 16:62-63
The social religious groups speak of the love of Christ that has done it all, and rightly so, but then maneuver this same love to use as a controlling weapon on anyone who apposes their narrow minded understanding of how wide, high, and deep the love of Christ runs. Then accuse this way of thinking as salvation by works, yet anybody who does not do as they do, which is acting out what they believe, is outside of the love of Christ and therefore cannot be saved. These words condemn themselves by doing the very thing that they are accusing this doctrine of doing. The facts are that God made an everlasting covenant with Himself regarding everyone in the days of their youth. This covenant has nothing to do with you other than you are named as the beneficiary. Ezekiel 16:59-63 and 2Tim2:13, Rom3:3. Read it and rejoice.
Romans 5:15-21 Vers18 So then as through one transgression their resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. You were not around when Adam got you into trouble so why is it so hard to believethat Christ’s act of righteousness would not result in your justification. Your eternal salvation is a nonissue. The Bible was not given to address a nonissue, so what is the issue? God in His goodness has given each of us the opportunity to take the place of honor with His Son by obeying (implementing into your life) His Son’s instructions.
James4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse (2511) your hands, you sinners; and purify (48) your hearts, (2588) you double-minded. (1374) Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.
Cleanse 2511 - make clean Purify 48- cleanse from defilement
Hearts 2588 – mind, spirit. Double-minded 1374 – of two minds, wavering.
Think about it, what would Christ be asking you to do that would make you miserable, where your laughter is turn into weeping and mourning, where your joy is gloom? The answer is exactly the same actions King David displayed in Psalm.
Just because you have the opportunity to be exalted, in no way effects Christ’s finished work on the cross for your eternity.
Would you entrust yourself to a person which was of a double-mind or give him the place of honor? Of course not! You would not trust a person with a double mind, let a lone take him into your inner circle, but yet you think you can bypass the actions that removes a double-mind and still believe that Jesus is going to entrust Himself to you.
