I am sure He can see in the dark. I am also sure that, as you said, He is His own Light.. therefore there is no need to turn on any lights, but He did. He is the one who made the distinguishing mark of night and day. He knew that all creation on earth needed both a time of darkness and a time for light. Both are used to add up to one day starting at sunset and ending at the next sunset.
Yes, daylight starts in the morning and ends in the evening and it is called day time. The full day, like in a day of the week, starts in the evening and goes through to the next evening, when it will start a new day. The confusion comes because "day" is used for both.Yes indeed. This is true by definition.
Yes indeed. This is true by definition.
Morning is the beginning of the day, evening is the end of the day. There was "evening and morning" each day for 6 consecutive days (Isaiah 46:10).Before there was any man-made light ... daylight hours for the most part were the only hours when mankind could do productive or needed things.
There was "evening and morning" each day for six consecutive days "declaring the end from the beginning" (Isaiah 46:10)Yes, daylight starts in the morning and ends in the evening and it is called day time. The full day, like in a day of the week, starts in the evening and goes through to the next evening, when it will start a new day. The confusion comes because "day" is used for both.
are you saying the biblical day is only at night? from evening to morning? There was "evening and morning" each day for six consecutive days "declaring the end from the beginning" (Isaiah 46:10)
Yet you point to the verse that says "evening and morning".Morning is the beginning of the day, evening is the end of the day.
That is not a clear verse on the subject... I asked is "evening and morning" all there is to a day?Isaiah 46:10
And on the first Yom a certain woman found the stone roled back to reveal Yeshau wasn't there. He seperated light from darkness; day from night.
Again, please clarify, is "evening and morning" all there is to a day?He seperated light from darkness; day from night (John 11:9).
Good question!!! I don't think the text specifies, but it is very possible that part of His work was done in the physical darkness. Although He dwells in light Himself.. And the light He created the first day was probably like spiritual light that was still there regardless of if the Sun was up or not... I love reading Genesis 2:1-3 - He finished all His creation - every erev shabbat when we light our candle for shabbat.Yea, but was He working in the dark also?
Hello sister, I am the person cited, my book is available on August 30, 2019 on all major platforms, under the title "Proof of God in the International Date Line". Since my defense in this thread got eliminated, anyone who wishes to speak with me can do so in my thread: "In the week of creation, did the Lord create something in the night?" in Controversial Christian Theology. I hope there to continue our effort to better understand the word of God. United in our hope of the soon return of Jesus, Jorge"God has nothing to report during the second half of the day that He called "night", from evening to morning He stopped creating and only created during the first half of the day, the light part He called "day". "... this was found on another thread and I wanted to not rabbit trail it, so I am starting a new thread here on this subject.
