I watched Oklahoma at The Muny ( http://www.muny.org/ ) last week. I must say, this is my least favorite show so far. I like live theater, and musicals. But not Oklahoma. I just couldn't get into the story line. I know what it was about, but just didn't enjoy it.

Oh well, Grease is up this weekend.

I have the London revival of this show on DVD (starring Hugh Jackman). Oklahoma has long been a favorite of mine and I am glad I can share it with my children.

What exactly do you dislike about the show?
I've actually been trying to figure out what it was I didn't like. I'm not sure if it was the story line or the songs. Or the style of the songs. But for some reason I just didn't care for it.
Maybe I just like a show with more 'action'.

Tha's okay -- everyone has different tastes. I have to admit though--"Poor Jud is dead" is one of my all time favorite pieces, just because it is hysterical!
