  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yep... that's the one. Know it?

Yes I do...have lotsa friends that go there. Snells, Turners, Jenkins...I'm sure there are others that don't come to mind at the moment also. We live in Berea...just arouind the corner.

We were part of that fellowship when they were in their old building off Bagley Road. Small world...blessings to you!

Hello Qidron [makes me think of Kidron,OH in Amish country] nice to meet you too. I really don't like candles, but I have a different type of heat that I never heard of before, called "pan-electric" it is in the ceiling and is radient heat, the booklet says it heats every corner like the sun's rays, and it does. I can even go barefoot in winter and my carpet is toasty warm,as is all the furniture and the bed at night is like using a heated mattress-pad [which is also great for those with chilly houses]. No furnace, so no noise, kinda freaky to get used to hearing your own heart beat,LOL! Only drawback is using air-conditioning units, instead of central-air. But I sure am warn in winter. Hope you are enjoying a Blessed day,and warm wishes to you and yours.

That actually all sounds wonderful. My chilly little house could use some sunray heat right about now.

Of course there is a Kidron in Amish country...they have all the good names down there. Shoulda known. Anyway, yes, my Qidron is the same..that's just the Hebrew spelling and I like the Q for some reason. The Wady Qidron (Brook Kidron) from scripture. The intermitant flow outside of Jerusalem..where idols were crushed, burned and washed away. I learn more about it every day. Maybe I should write to someone down in Amish Country and ask what they know.

GOD BLESS YOU MORE
