People will dig very deep to defend their image of politicians and leaders they have committed to.Yeah, that "re-engaging" is simply absurd to unbelievable depths of absurdity.
If it had been obliterated - they could not climb on board -
Do you think the US is involved in a holy war?Criticism of the Christian position that killing those boatmen was a righteous act is the opposite of what some are wrongfully accusing me of. Is constantly besmirching and falsely accusing Christians your only reason for being here?
BTW here's a little something to ponder:
This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. 3 Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’” 1 Samuel 15:2-3
I think I've heard of it, what's it called? You know there's been a whole New Testament written since then,
I don't know, but if one's worldview is those passages justify unconscionable acts, then name your massacre and your golden.Do you think the US is involved in a holy war?
From your own link:A video of the attack, shown to U.S. lawmakers on Thursday and described to Reuters by two sources familiar with the imagery, showed smoke clearing and two men, who had somehow lived through the blast, clinging to a severed section of the front of the vessel in a futile effort to survive. They were shirtless, unarmed and carried no visible communications equipment. They also appeared to have no idea what had just hit them, or that the U.S. military was weighing whether to finish them off. "The video follows them for about an hour as they tried to flip the boat back over. They couldn't do it," --Reuters
Dude....come on...
Which, Dude, Madam, is illegal. So illegal it is the exact example used in the military code as an example of illegality. From your own link:
Admiral Frank Bradley, who was the head of the Joint Special Operations Command at the time, concluded that the wreckage was likely being kept afloat because there was cocaine inside and could drift long enough to be recovered, said the sources. So Bradley decided that, in order to complete the mission assigned by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and neutralize the threat posed by the drug boat, he would need to attack the vessel again.
BTW - I'm not a dude - I don't work on a horse ranch
Obliterated - definition - : to remove from existence : destroy utterly all trace, indication
Project 2025I think I've heard of it, what's it called?
Reminds me of something that drip out of the nose of a male bovine - Unless of course you have a link.Project 2025
Which honey bunny - is not what the JAG officer said, nor the Navel Commander, nor the Secretary of War nor Admiral Bailey - head of the joint Special Operations Command.Which, Dude, Madam, is illegal. So illegal it is the exact example used in the military code as an example of illegality.
Thats it?Which honey bunny - is not what the JAG officer said, nor the Navel Commander, nor the Secretary of War nor Admiral Bailey - head of the joint Special Operations Command.
Thanks for the link providing the information from the head of Joint Special Operations Command - the person who would know the most of what is and is not legal.
Rumer has it - he knows even more than posters on an internet forum!
It's not a matter of rules. It's a matter of fully understanding the nature of God/Christ who never changes (Hebrews 13:8). The Bible talks about the Angel of the Lord bringing death in serval instances, and it's widely accepted that the Angel of the Lord was pre-incarnate Christ. The Biblical Christ is not the total pacifist lovey dovey flower child liberalism makes him out to be.You know there's been a whole New Testament written since then, and the rules by which Christians dispersed in the world are different from the rules of the Israelites within the boundaries of the specific physical territory granted to them in those days.
What planet have you been on for the last ten years? Impeachments, lawfare, assassination attempts. You are probably amazed he us still standing after all of this but no previous president in our lifetime time has endured such vitriol."The left's treatment of Trump?"
What?
Trump is the president of the United States living in the White House. He's on top of the whole freaking world. He's the best-treated person on earth.
Whatever "the left" might have tried to do to Trump has been so utterly unsuccessful as to be negligible. The mosquito that successfully bit me last week was worse treatment than Trump has gotten from "the left."
The conspiracy forum is not here -Thats it?
You will privilege people covering for the boss over your own eyes and capacity for reason?
That's not the point.Do you think the US is involved in a holy war?
Theres barely any dispute about the facts of the incident. And the law is on the books for all to read - and has been presented here. The conspiracy forum is not here -
Unless you have this thing called proof -
I think it very much is the point. The US Navy is arbitrarily exterminating anonymous men, suspected smugglers, in small boats. The Navy has the power to do that. Whether they have the legal authority has been questioned, but many Christians have told me that they have the moral authority because of what the boats are smuggling and why. What is it about that smuggling operation that gives moral authority to summarily exterminate even those merely suspected of it?That's not the point.
No. You misunderstood. They're not condoning the killing of survivors because they don't think that's what happened. There's lots of people Christian and non-Christian who don't or at first didn't accept that version of what happened. I doubt you'll find many saying "okay I now accept that they were helpless survivors and still think killing them was the right thing to do".At this time, killing survivors at sea is know as immoral by the entire world...except, apparently, by some Christians.
Do you believe JAG?Theres barely any dispute about the facts of the incident. And the law is on the books for all to read - and has been presented here.
