I'm Emma, I was baptized Catholic but grew up non-believing and believed in mostly Buddhist and reincarnation ideas.
However after some deep spiritual experiences, getting a sign from my great grandma, and other things, I was led to God. I did lots of research on philosophy, metaphysics, intelligent design, Biblical accuracy, etc. And after considering both secular and non secular sources, I felt like what I previously thought was just "the universe" telling me things and informing my intuition, was in reality, God. I have always seen things regarding human nature other people haven't seen, and had dreams that had predicted events, that I always just assumed was coincidence. I think there is simply a lot beyond our reality we can't explain. I started RCIA classes recently, and I look forward to where this spiritual journey takes me.
I wanted to find a forum where I could get Christian perspectives, because unfortunately on r/Christianity it is overrun by atheists who will turn people's posts into debates and flood the comment sections with ad hominems. And I also don't mind discussing things with atheists as long as it can be moderated such as on here, because it's unfortunate to see that it's not regulated in other places. From what I've seen people are very respectful on all sides here.
