new christian bands

does anybody know of any new, up and coming, christian bands that are around?
for example - Dweeb

i love to hear about really good christian bands before they become really well known.

Aah, Dweeb, everbody seems to be talking about them at the moment. I've just had a conversation on another website about them. I went to see them in T. Wells. They were really good, definatly slightly mad. Really Nice Guys, we even managed to get one of them to sing happy birthday to one of the presenters in the style of Marylin Munroe (Even got the photo to prove it). Got This is not our Shed, but I have to say, I prefer them live.

Apart from that, I actually can't think of any.

Falling Up is a good new Chrisitan band. They're first CD "Crashing" came out only a couple months ago.

A great modern worship band is Starfield. They've been around a while, but they just recently signed with Sparrow Records. They're self-titled album sounds very promising!

They rocked canada before signing with Sparrow. If you can, get the Canadian release for the album. It's much better. They felt some songs need tweeking before releasing them in the US, but they were fine to begin with.

I've seen them live 3 times...and have been in a elevator with the band a bunch of times in a hotel. Theve been to my church twice, and they are really nice guys. There new cd comes out tomorrow

Slingshot57 is an indy band that's been around for a lil while. They deserve some creidt for rawkin out, even without being signed.

I have my own Rock Worship band. we don't have any albums and we haven't done any gigs yet, but we have written 2 songs already. we have been together for around 3 months now, and we have our first gig coming up in september/october.
i know this doesn't sound that good but we all have our hearts set on God and we seek to praise him in all we do, even when we do covers of existing non-worship songs.
We are called "FlameWave" so keep ya eyes open for us in England lol!

excellent! i shall check out these bands.
ive got Falling Up's album and its good but its very samey if you listen to it in one go so its best in a playlist with other albums.

keep them coming though - need as much as possible!!

I was going to say, if your band gets a website up any time, let us know about it, and at least I will be sure to check it out. ..I'm always interested in checking out the indy & underground bands.

well i thought of one. My girlfriend has an awesome voice. When she gets older, she is going to go into music and hopefulyl make cds and stuff. She has songs on the internet, and everyone who hears them thinks she has a really good voice.

the band im in right now is called Triport. were out of Minneapolis and are working on getting a demo cd out.
