"But in my excitement i believe I have made them nervous. I want to learn more about what I'm going through and any dangers that are known for people doing their own research. I have a fear or at least I've VERY uncomfortable in a group of people. I've always been a loner and just figured things out for myself."
"I have reached out to a few different Churches in my area but none have responded back. I probably scared them off as well."
Welcome to CF & that you are excited about Christianity. One concern I have is in the above statements. You mention that your own research is the message that you are preaching & it is making both your family & some different churches uncomfortable & nervous.
What is the gospel message that you have learned from your own study that you are sharing? What are you teaching? One must check to make sure it is the gospel message as found in the Bible.
I Cor 15:1-11 Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, and in which you stand firm.
2By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
4that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
5and that He appeared to Cephas
a and then to the Twelve.
6After that, He appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.
7Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
8And last of all He appeared to me also, as to one of untimely birth.
9For I am the least of the apostles and am unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
10But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not in vain. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
11Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.
2 Cor 4:1-11
Therefore, since we have this ministry through the mercy of God, we do not lose heart.
2Instead, we have renounced secret and shameful ways. We do not practice deceit, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by open proclamation of the truth, we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.
4The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
5For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”
a made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Treasures in Jars of Clay
(
Romans 6:1-14)
7Now we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this surpassingly great power is from God and not from us.
8We are pressed on all sides, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;
9persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.
10We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
11For we who are alive are always consigned to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our mortal bodies.
Romans 10:1-13,17 Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is for their salvation.
2For I testify about them that they are zealous for God, but not on the basis of knowledge.
3Because they were ignorant of God’s righteousness and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.
4For Christ is the end of the law, to bring righteousness to everyone who believes.
5For concerning the righteousness that is by the law, Moses writes: “The man who does these things will live by them.”
6But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down)
7or, ‘Who will descend into the Abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).”
8But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”
d that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:
9that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.
11It is just as the Scripture says: “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”
12For there is no difference between Jew and Greek: The same Lord is Lord of all, and gives richly to all who call on Him,
13for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Consequently, faith comes by hearing & hearing by THE WORD OF GOD.
Hope this helps.
