  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Once again, hiya Veggie! We must hop around to a lot of the same topics...tee-hee!

I wanted to add to your thread because both my aunt and one of my sisters use Netflix. They like it, but the only thing I remember my sister saying is that they only offer older movies - not new-releases?? I'm not 100% sure on that, though.....

A lot of my co-workers are members...they all love it. I'm not really interested in signing up...because it's not really worth it unless you rent at least 4-5 movies a month. But if I had the money to spend or rented a lot...I think it looks like a great thing.

I've had it since Christmas, and love it! Lots of foreign films, and recommendations based on your preferences. They do have all the new releases too. In fact, you can add them to a pre-release queue before they're released, and they'll automatically be transferred to your regular queue when they come out.
