Yeah you might want to watch the show first but I can assure you the manga will be better (but at $10 a book that's a good idea )

She was referring to what I said about the English dubbing being bad. I know 3 words isn't a lot to base it on, but there are quite a few other examples of where the Japanese voice actors are far superior to the English ones.

Oh I don't disagree that Japanese voice actors are far superior, but that doesn't always mean that dubs are going to suck. They may not be as good as the original but they still could be good.

Exactly, plus it's gonna take a COUPLE OF YEARS to catch up to where Naruto is currently right now. If they showed a brand new episode every week, it would take 3 years to reach where we are now, and by that time, the Japanese subbed version will be up to episode 300! where of course Naruto is the Hokage of Konoha and he is married to Hinata?

I'm still going to watch it on TV... If I can handle the butchering that DBZ recieved, then I can handle Naruto...

OH, By the way, I saw the first trailer for the premiere... they don't let you hear many voices which was a shame, but I heard a slight second of Naruto grunting, and if you've ever seen DBZ, it sounded slightly similar to Gohan as a child, but remember, it was only a grunt, so Maile was ofcourse straining the voice of Naruto...

Which leaves me to wonder another thing... do you think they'll keep Ninjutsu names like, "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!!" or will they make it, "Shadow Ruplicant!!" ? I hope they keep it the Japanese name..

I mean think about it... Susuke screaming, "Thousand Birds!!" instead of, "Chidori!!"................... o_o

The dub is probably going to be very well done. It's made by the same people who dubbed Cowbow Bebop so if you've ever compared the original to dub on that, they did a very nice job.

And there's a longer commercial on CN now which has the closet perv (Yeah..can't remember his name >>' Saying stuff, And Naruto growling..kind of.

Still using "Rule the school" But eh >_>'; I have high hopes for it.

Jiraiya is the "Ero Senin, Perverted Hermit" one of the 3 legendary Sannin.

I haven't seen any commercials for Naruto at all. You can bet I'll be watching Sept 10, anyone know what time it will be airing?

Oh wait I just read Sept 10, 9PM EST. They are showing the first 2 episodes back to back in 1 hour at 9PM and then repeating the whole thing at 10PM.

Yeah, some things I know are going to annoy me... I know it's Leaf Village... but just hearing it in english hurts >.O, aswell as it saying that Naruto wants to be the Ruler of the School.... instead of Hokage... T_T noooooooo!

Honestly, I'm more concerned about Susuke... are they going to keep him a steady, cool guy who's in solitude... or will they make him out to be the "Prep" of the school... they can do it y'know!!

But yeah, considering they are the same people that did Cowboy Bebop... which was excellently done, I shan't give up hope... until I've heard it o0.

I think that just the names of stuff is going to get to me... OH, maybe they'll call it lightning edge instead of chidori..... hmmm o0

Sorry for double post, but I have a question about Gaara and the Sand Ninjas...
It was unclear to me as to why Gaara and the other Sand ninjas were helping Orochimaru, then later, they reappear to help when Rock Lee is fighting that bone... guy...thing...

So what was the deal with the Sand dudes?

Okay, after the Chunnin Exams it became known that the Garra's father, the Kazekage ('sand Hokage' leader person) had been killed by Orochimaru. Since then, Oro and Kabuto had been impersonating the Kazekage. When the Suna found out, they sent nins to the leaf as retribution for the trouble they caused.
