Ok, well I'm making this thread so we can talk about anything and everything on Napoleon Dynamite. I love this movie. It is my second favorite.
Some, people think it was lame and slow - but that's what makes it so great! I have seen it about 16 times I believe... But enough about me. How bout u guys? Why do you like it? How many times have u seen it?

I've seen it four times now. Pretty much have it memorized.

I'd have to say that the funniest scene was Kip trying to "demonstrate" the Tupperware's agility with his uncle's van. ROFL!!!!

My 13-year-old wanted to rent it a few months ago. I began to think it's one of the DUMBEST movies, but then it grows on you & you end up absolutely LOVING it! Plus, there's no profanity or anything offensive, which I wasn't expecting from an Mtv-produced film. I was pleasantly surprised.

A true classic.

This film is funny, but not so great to be a future classic. The fact that it doesn't have any nudity or profanity is probably because the director and writers , and I think also the guys who plays Napoleon, are Mormons. And I guess they don't like cussing. I found the film funny, the pace was good, but that's about it. A decent film.

"Last week, Japenese Scientists explaced - placed - explosive dedinators @ the bottom of Lake Lochness, to blow Nessy outta the water. Scord Godfrey of the Nessy alliance, summoned the help of Scotland's local wizards to cast a protective spell over the lake, and it's local residents, and all those who seek for the peaceful existence of our under -water ali."

Aahhhhhhhh. Love that line. My friends are starting to seriously get worried about me. They say Napoleon is becoming an unhealthy obsession. Lol. I love the ending, when he's feeding Tina, and he's walking down the sidewalk with his sweet suit! haha. It is such and awesome movie, it's not even funny. GET THIS: John Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) is 27 and MARRIED!!! Am I the only one who finds that slightly weird?

Maybe it's just me and over expectations, but I felt this movie was a little less than I thought it'd be. It's my favorite movie to quote and a lot of my friends call me Napoleon at school 'cause of the little late kick thing he does at the beginning. Long story.

Tina, come get some ham! Uncle Rico? What're you doing here?

ROFL!! One of the funniest movies ever made. No plot. No time frame. No sense. No point.

It was a film with a budget around 200,000 and it made something like 44.4 million dollars.

It's great. I used to own a pair of moon boots once. My fiance bought the movie for me so I can't wait to get it to see it again.

My son told me I was wrong when I told them that the movie had no plot or purpose. He said that the movie was about being willing to step out of your comfort zone and take a risk in order to make your wildest dreams come true...
