My world is falling apart

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O heavenly King, O Comforter, the Spirit of truth, who art in all places and fillest all things; Treasury of good things and Giver of life: Come and dwell in us and cleanse us from every stain, and save our souls, O gracious Lord.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal: have mercy on us. (Thrice)

All-holy Trinity, have mercy on us. Lord, cleanse us from our sins. Master, pardon our iniquities. Holy God, visit and heal our infirmities for thy Name's sake.

I am one who believes in God, but have trouble believing in the bible in a literal sense. I believe it is mostly symbolic with some reality mixed in. Recently my 74 year old mother was hospitalized and has been diagnosed with permanent atrial fibrillation. In other words, her heart will beat irregularly for the rest of her life. She is on pradaxa to prevent her from having a stroke. I am falling apart because she IS my world. I am depressed beyond comprehension. Please pray that God comes into my life to help me make what time she has left the best time she could possibly ask for.

Stopped and prayed for you and your mom. How is she? My husband has AF. I expect he will live a very long time. I don't worry about it bc I know the Lord gives me strength to go through anything I need. I've been married 40 year, I can't imagine a life without him. One day we will all die, when that day comes I am ready. I know Christ died in my place, and most importantly was resurrected. He took my sins on the cross and I am ready to stand before my Lord and Savior. I pray the same for you and your mom. But that day doesn't come for many years. Receive that resurrection power through Jesus Christ to live in this life today and the next life when that time comes.

I know this is a year later but prayers don't have a time stamp…
