This suggests to me a tender homosexual undercurrent in the scriptures, possibly suggesting to us the homoerotic nature of the 'laying of hands' which may be concieved to be a latent sexual act.
is it also possible that the love of the lord could be an angry lust for his childer, brought on by the possesive nature of his realtionship with his 'flock'?
