Any one have any suggestions on a good multivitamin to take? I used to take centrum, but Ive read up on it a little and found that they aren't a very good multivitamin because the majority of the vitamins don't even absorb into the body and most of it passes right through the system. So whaddya think? What's the best Multi-Vitamin, with the best price?

Yes, I agree. Vitamins need to be consumed alongside a healthy eating style. I take Swiss 0ne-80's. > http://www.nevitamins.com/product_info.php/cPath/49/products_id/156

When a client asks me this same question, I give them this same answer! I get mine at Old Fashion Foods or you can get them at Sangster's Health Foods, @ Sangster's they are Sangster's One-80, but Swiss still made them.

Hope this helps, J

When you do purchase a multi, make sure the vitamins are chelated which is usually indicated with an "ate" at the end. BioTech and Shaklee have good multi vitamins with all trace minerals, plus well researched anti-oxidants and herbs. When you do consume a multi-vitamin which has Vit. A, make sure you take it with fat such as whole milk (organic, but not ultra pasturized). Fat is required for metabolizing the fat-soluable vitamins. You can find some excellent multi's at the health food store as well. Try and take multis with a meal that includes fat. What people don't know is that saturated fat is good for you and prevents cancer. It has been rendered bad through processing. Organic meats, butter, and milk are better for you since they are not over processed. The enzyme Lipase which breaks down fat and keeps cholesterol moving through the blood stream is also recommended with your meal. Lecithin also keeps cholesterol moving through the blood. Ancient diets were high fat and people had longevity. The foods were whole and natural. No processing and additives. The animals were range fed and not fed with processed grains and garbage.

Europe has already adopted a new health regiment. "Eat fat and get healthy."

God bless you with good health,
Kim

That's not such a feat. I'll bet you it's pretty much all synthetic too. If it is not, them give me a link to buy it lol.

A good multivitamin will have a good mineral and nutrient profile, as well as a predominance of natural minerals and nutrients.

You shouldn't pay less than 30
