World of Warcraft is probably pretty addictive. Not having played that, my answer would be Ultima Online. That's the game where the guy committed suicide and the mother sued the game maker.

Actually I think he got spurned by an online romance. Dying in Ultima Online isn't that bad. If dying online caused suicides, I'd expect a lot more coming from Diablo 2 hardcore.

i have two.

1. Burnout 3. While im not one for racing games, this one is pure fun. No technical stuff or appearance chaging things, you can't even choose automatic or manual. Its that carefree. Anyway, the music (which i don't like at all) really does set the mood to race really fast whilst weaving through traffic. Plus, the amound of stuff you can do makes it all the more better.

and 2. Morrowind. Even though this game is kinda slow paced and VERY buggy, it was addicting because of the fact that you wanted to get so much done, and as much as possible that you would end up spending hours on end playing.

hehe when a game makes you look for little blue arrows over other cars while you drive down the freeway, it's definately time for a reality check. I played this with my 13 year old nephew over the holidays and he kept checking the controls and thinking something was wrong when I kept beating him like it was a fluke. It's like it never occurred to him that I might actually be a capable gamer.

the sims bustin out was pretty addictive and then Chaos Legion and then Final Fantasy X and then it was Final Fantasy X-2 and now it's Chaos Legion again -.- im addictied to alot of video games XD

All Final Fantasy games are addictive! I had to put a lot of hours to get everything in them, not to mention hidden bosses and ultimate weapons.
