One wonders why the CPA closed Sadr's 'newspaper.' I have no doubt that it was a piece of garbage, but if they closed it because they were afraid it would incite his followers to violence, then they made a pretty weird miscalculation.

I thought it was kinda ironic that his newspaper got shutdown by the people who are wanting to spread democracy. Next thing you know there will be a new minister of information saying "There are no attacks" as US humvees and tanks burn behind him.

maybe the old minister of information will apply to get his job back (same job, new masters)
