First off, RELIENT K IS NOT PUNK, and Pillar would fit into that pop/metal category like Linkin Park.

If you want real hardcore punk try Headnoise. They're the best christian punk band I've heard. There's also The Undecided, but I've only heard a few songs from them.
Still Breathing is a great hardcore metal female fronted christian band. They're like Kittie, but way heavier and faster. If you like some Emocore try Dead Poetic. There's also Zao. They have a sound a bit similar to sepultura and Slayer. And if you like rap, the real kind, stay away from Toby Mac, cuz he's as pop as bubblegum.

lol. Like Sepultura and Slayer...
There's some cool Christian metal out there, but I don't know. Nothing hits like those guys do. I've got Extol, Mortification (old Mortification freaking rocks), it just doesn't give me that...goosebump feeling. Living Sacrifice is pretty cool.
Scatterd Few is a pretty cool band.

In a world that thinks Green Day is Punk, I don't think we're gonna have any luck there. I like the Exploited. I have found no counterpart to them.

Well, obviously, you don't know a thing about real hip-hop. Besides, whoever started this thread asked for some metal and punk, not rap, so let's just drop it.

One thing, do you always post or talk in the third person? I thought only conceited boxers did that.

POD.... I am sure you know who they are They are rap core, but more metal
Pillar- THey have already been mentioned, but yeah, just htought I would repeat them. Rap core cut music is very hard rocking.

Kutless.... Now there is a sweet band. You should check them out, they are excellent. Rock.

38th parallel... Good harmony, and some rap mized into a lot of rock. They sound a lot like linkin park. I like all of their songs.

12 stones- Rock... but mellow. A few songs get intense... Check out one of their songs called Soul fire.

Project 86. They are comparable to disturbed. Intsense hard rock metal. Perfect for those days in which satan seems to be on ya like crazy.

East West... Even more intense than P 86, but there music seems to be a lil immature. Screaming, but here and there you can catch a lot of what they say. Their messege is amazing, and will motivate ya i you are into hard core music.

Then there is Zao... death metal, can't understand a word they say, but hey, it sounds good.

We are all posting nicely in this thread, correct?
I don't want to have to remove posts and dish out warnings if I don't have to.
Just stick to the rules and there won't be any concerns about that.

Thank you and post on.

E. So rawks my sawks......and Blindside is friggin' awesome........I have yet to hear a really fast playing Christian punk band......most of these bands only claim to be Christian to get more airplay, etc. to begin with then as soon as they hit mainstream success they quickly ditch the label. Just my opinion though.....I don't think it's that far-fetched however.....
