oh, cool, Pepper! I printed the test and the results and plan to find out who I am first chance I get. Not sure if I know how to interpret the results, but maybe you can help with that if I lose my way. Thanks.

No problem!

Just let me know and I'll help you out.

No problem!

Just let me know and I'll help you out.

Well, I went through the test and got frustrated because I think the questions are too vague in some cases, and I find myself wanting to grumble and say, well, no, sometimes I feel this way and other times, not. Or, no, I don't like how that is phrased, it's too ambiguous. Some of the questions, neither A nor B describe me, and others do not reflect a complete description of my attitude. I think I'm not ready to do this test because I'm still in the process of changing.

Then I tried to score the test and realized that I need a professional to do that. For instance, I have 9 A's and 1 B for Extrovert vs. Introvert. That makes me an extrovert, which I don't think I am. How can this be? Maybe I am becoming an extrovert? Surprise surprise.

For sensation vs. intuition, I have 8 A's and 12 B's. Does that mean I'm slightly more intuitive than sensing? Am I an S or an N? Who knows? Only the professional would...but then I may not have answered accurately so how can they evaluate the results accurately.

For Thinking vs. Feeling, it's 6 A's and 14 B's, which puts it over into more feeling, yet I swear that I'm more into thinking than feeling.

And Judging vs. Perceiving, it's 8 A's to 12 B's. Does that mean I'm P or J?

Sigh...I think I'll just leave "me" alone for now.

It looks like you are an ENFP Although your N/S and P/J are somewhat close. So it could be ENFP, ESFP, ENFJ, ESFJ so it's narrowed down to four. And yes, you can decrease your "I" by strengthening the "E" easily especially if you've been working on it for a while. I think the best way to look at the questions are imagining that you are under pressure in situations or slightly stressed out, then what would you do? For instance given a set of tasks everyone can skip around and do a little of this and a little of that but when there is a pressing deadline and time is running out an "S" will start processing one thing at a time chronologically while an "N" would feel less comfortable doing it that way. I can give you the info on these four that you came up with unless you want to try it again with all this in mind.... it would probably be more accurate.

As far as the J/P goes I hate it when I finish things because to me it means it's over. I like leaving things open as a work in progress and feel comfortable that I can always change things.... or when I read books that are a series, I never seem to finish the last book because I don't want it to end. Haha.... I also hate time pressure and would rather take my time to do something to my own satisfaction but under time pressure I nearly give up because it goes against my ability to give it real effort. So naturally I'm a "P" but that doesn't mean that someone could be on the line of being both if the A's and B's are nearly the same amount. For me my P heavily outnumbered my J.... but my N and S are relatively close.
