Is there something specific that non-denominational Christians believe that separate them from other denominations (yes, I know it's strange that I'm speaking about non-denominational christians as if it was another denomination). How exactly does being a non-denominational Christian make you different from lets say, a Baptist, or a Catholic, Presbyterian, or a Seventh-day Adventist?

The Lord adds the saved to His church - His Body. Since the Lord only has one Body, it needs no name. God gave it none.

He did not denominate it. To name is to denominate; to denominate is to name.

A denomination is a class or kind having a specific name. Sects and divisions may want to identify themselves so as not to be identified with others in the Body of Christ.

We all need nothing but Christ in our heart and life; and should gather for worship and study with those of like-mind who are devoted to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord ---God's beloved Son; and rather than be denominated, one should seek a very scriptural assembly of believers who hold only to the Word of God, rather than the innovations of men. That is my perception.

It was man who created denominations. As was said Jesus founded only one church - the universal Body of Believers. Then men who disagree over the interpretation of certain verses of Scripture, or put more importance on certain verses than on others or even misinterpreted verses said "let's start our own church". Non-denominational Believers choose to not be a part of any church that is part of a denomination but fellowship with non-affiliated, independent churches.
